World Oceans Day

Today, June 8th, is the first ever World Oceans Day. It's sanctioned by the UN, because apparently the United Oceans couldn't get its act together in time. And when you're staring at ocean blue helmets all day long, it's only natural that the UN would want to maintain something along the lines of that color spectrum, before they have to change one of their official colors to "oil slick and sludge water brown."
To top it all off, Ted Danson, fresh off a mere 20 year break from pouring pints on national tv, is working to spread the knowledge of declining fish populations among the larger species of our oceans. He was probably just pissed off that he came in 6th at this year's Endangered Species Killing Spree. I'm just kidding...he's a good guy, and looks stellar with the white hair.
So, as you spend your evening wondering why they chose ocean blue for the color of your urinal cake in your favorite bar bathroom, think of Ted Danson, and it will all come full circle.
